COUPLE'S CAMPING RETREAT

3 days/2 Nights on French Broad River

Born 2 Be Wild is offering a new adventure this month, the Couples Camping Retreat! Think of it as a marriage retreat and camping trip with short, guided day hikes. Your hosts for the weekend will be Bruce and Marlina Martin. We’ll stay in Hot Springs, NC at the Hot Springs Resort Campground Friday through Sunday, April 22-24. Your registration per couple includes:

Four marriage teaching sessions on “Love Never Fails”
Group campsite on the river with electricity and bathhouses
Meals including dinner on Friday, 3 meals on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday
2 Guided Day Hikes on Max Patch (picnic lunch) and Lover’s Leap
Private one hour hot tub treatments in the mineral hot springs at the resort

You are responsible for providing all of your own camping gear. If you don’t have camping gear, you can make arrangements with HS Resort Campground to rent a cabin onsite or you can bring your own RV for additional fees set by the resort.

SCHEDULE:

FRIDAY

Noon – 6:00 PM – Arrive in Hot Springs and setup camp

6:00 PM – Dinner is served at the campground

7:00 PM – Session One: Communication and Conflict Resolution

8-10:00 PM – Couple Free Time

SATURDAY

8:00 AM – Breakfast at the campground

9:00 AM – Session Two: Appreciating the Differences

10:30 AM – Drive up to Max Patch Mountain Trail

12:00 PM – Picnic lunch on top of Max Patch Bald (weather permitting)

2:00-6:00 PM – Hot Tub Treatments and Couple Free Time
